The UNWTO (United Nations World Tourism Organization) Students League is an international competition for younger talents to come up with innovative creations for a sustainable tourism sector. In this year’s competition two grade seven students, Ayesha Khan and Aleena Farhan, from ISM Muscat participated in the Plastics Pollution challenge. For their project, they improvised on traveling bags made out of plastic wastes. Their combined efforts rewarded them first place, placing our school at the top out of a thousand schools that competed in the competition. One of the main purposes of this competition is to give young teenagers the opportunity to put forth their creativities and knowledge into the real world. We would like to congratulate them on their recent success.
